| De Gaffellibel is de enigste soort van de familie Gaffellibellen in Nederland. Ze hebben een karakteristiek groen/zwart/geel uiterlijk en zijn daardoor zeer herkenbaar. Vooral de ogen en het borststuk zijn vaak opvallend groen gekleurd. Het mannetje is van het vrouwtje te onderscheiden aan zijn slankere figuur en aanhangselen. Houdt van rivieren met zandige bodem. |
